After cutting my teeth on the writings
of Dad Speer, P.P. Bliss, Charles Wesley, Fanny Crosby and others,
I spent my teen years studying Larry Gatlin and Kris Kristofferson
songs. My mother will confirm that I spent hours listening to records
and digesting every liner note, song credit, publishing company name
- every jot and tittle on every LP that graced my turntable. My grades
in school reflect that fact. I had always hoped that someone, someday
would record and release a song I had written. I never dreamed that
so many of my friends and favorites in the Gospel Music world would
eventually release my music.
I am a blessed man, as God has truly given me the desires of my heart!
